Reviews and Ratings <br />
My stay at the resort was quite disappointing. While the initial impression upon arrival was good, the outdated rooms and unpleasant smells significantly detracted from the experience. The service varied significantly; the breakfast team was excellent, but I felt like an inconvenience when speaking with reception staff about issues in my room. On a positive note, the location was lovely and offered beautiful views, but I would hesitate to recommend this place based on my experience.
The resort boasts a stunning location by the ocean, making for breathtaking views and great opportunities for morning strolls. While the dining experience had its highlights, the breakfast options were somewhat lacking. I found the rooms to be outdated and in need of maintenance, which detracted from the overall experience. The facilities are decent, but there’s room for improvement, especially in terms of attention to detail.
My recent stay at the resort had its ups and downs. The location is stunning with beautiful views, and I found the grounds well-maintained. However, the room I stayed in was disappointing and far from what was pictured online. The dining experience left much to be desired, especially during breakfast. Overall, while I appreciated some aspects of the resort, there are definitely areas needing improvement.
The resort has stunning grounds around the Bras d’Or Lakes, providing beautiful scenery that truly reflects the charm of Cape Breton Island. While the rooms are clean and comfortable, they do feel somewhat dated, and a few updates would enhance the experience. The dining at the Lakeside Restaurant was generous and delicious, adding to the overall enjoyment of the stay. However, there were some inconsistencies in the service during busy times which could be improved.
The resort has a lovely location near the water, but the experience itself was a mixed bag. While it offers a nice pool area for families and a charming atmosphere with fire pits, the rooms are dated and the mattresses need urgent attention to ensure comfort. The dining options were limited and left something to be desired. Overall, it has potential but falls short in a few key areas.
